MOTIONGATE™ Dubai Brings Hollywood Holidays
You already know that MOTIONGATE™ Dubai is the region’s largest Hollywood-inspired theme park. And, they are going all out to celebrate and bring forth the magic of Christmas to Dubai. Yes, they are bringing the magic of Christmas through Hollywood Holidays, which will feature everything from parades and street shows to Santa encounters! The fiesta will go on till Sunday, January 7, 2024.
The highlight of the event is certainly the magnificent 40 feet Christmas tree! Decorated to perfection, this centrepiece is also a great place where you can get your pictures clicked for social media, making for an excellent backdrop. However, it’s also bringing forth a bunch of exciting activities that you wouldn’t want to miss out.
Exciting Highlights At The Theme Park
Take a look at some of the exciting things happening at MOTIONGATE™ Dubai, this festive season
- Home For Christmas
This is basically a live stage show at the Hollywood Theatre, which will feature Mr Humbug, a grumpy old man. A classic Christmas tale, the story follows this old man who is set on avoiding holiday cheer on Christmas Eve. And it should be revealed that this unfolds through a series of live music numbers and the introduction of quirky characters with holiday learnings. - Hollywood Holidays Parade
A lively parade where Shrek, Po, King Julien, and Smurfs along with other adored characters will be joyfully dancing down the Studio Central. Dressed in their festive-themed attire, they will be greeting fans who will be waiting eagerly for them to take the march. - Time To Sleigh
Guests will also be able to enjoy captivating streets at Studio Central. A delightful street show, it will feature a reindeer-led dance show. Moreover, Toy Factory Fellas, which is an enchanting performance by elves and toy soldiers will also leave the crowd giddy.
This will be followed by a meet and greet with talented dancers as well. As it happens, the youngest fans at the park will also get to adore Alex the Lion, Gloria, and King Julien. Moreover, they will be bringing Holiday Magic to life at King Julien’s Holiday Stomp. - Smurfmass Show
To enjoy the magic of festive holidays, one has to head over to the Smurfs Village, where the blue buddies will be celebrating the joyous season with family favourite shows. Yes, this is a live street dance performance by Papa Smurf, Smurfette, Vanity and Brainy.
What About Food & Shopping?
As such, MOTIONGATE™ Dubai is also organising festive night markets, which is a must-visit for foodies. Offering everything from decadent crepes and cookies to churros and cotton candies, the alfresco setting just makes it all the more perfect. Adding to the cheer, holiday-special meals will also be served here. Yes from Festive Turkey Carving Set to Turkey Vindaloo, there will be a slew of mouthwatering dishes that you will want to try. While you’re here don’t forget to shop at 15 themed retail shops each of which have been stocked with an exclusive selection of Hollywood-themed souvenirs.
