And How?

Well, the suburban beaches of Mumbai- Versova, Marve, Madh, Aksa– are likely to get Goa-like shacks that will serve delicious food and cater to all the needs of the travellers and Aamchi Mumbaikars alike. An official was quoted as saying, “Minister of state {tourism} Madan Yerawar wants to frame a policy along with the comprehensive beach tourism development plan for the coast to be ready in a month. It will be tabled before the cabinet for approval.”

What Else?

Beer or no beer? The state is certainly in conversation about the serving of alcohol, but I am hoping there will be some brilliant seafood and soft-drinks with some hep music and of course the waves that touch our hearts! Shacks in Mumbai are going to be happiness. No doubt! We won’t have to take an overnight bus or a 45 minute long flight to get to sunny Goa anymore!

Also, the shacks will have basic facilities such as showers, toilets, changing rooms, beach-safety equipment and first-aid kits.
