A recent parasailing incident at Baga Beach in Goa has once again sparked concerns over safety. A video posted by an Instagram user (@anilchandela83) shows a man falling into the sea with his parachute after its cable snapped suddenly.

The incident created panic on the boat, where the woman accompanying him can be heard shouting and asking the staff to help immediately. Fortunately, the man who fell into the sea was wearing a life jacket and was rescued.

Strict Action Could Be Taken Against Operators 

According to Moneycontrol, the incident has gone viral and has prompted a response from the authorities. The tourism department has now asked for a detailed account of what happened and how the cable snapped. Strict action could be taken against operators, including suspension of licences, if any safety lapse is found.

The video has now garnered over 9 million views. Netizens also expressed concern over the incident. One user wrote, “new fear unlocked,” while another commented, “never trust such rides.” A third user made a sarcastic comment, saying, “This is part of the adventure.” Fortunately, the man is safe, but the incident is undoubtedly terrifying.
