Public all over the world with strong internet connections has started demanding all services online. Be it ordering food or placing a visa application, we want everything at our fingertips. The process becomes simplified without the need to be physically present somewhere. Similarly, this online visa calculator is like a boon to citizens of Schengen countries who are concerned about overstaying in the UAE. Let’s get into some depth of this app.
Visitors Can Now Calculate Their Days To Avoid Overstaying
The Schengen Visa Calculator provides visitors with the ability to view the number of days remaining on their visa. If a visitor is a citizen of any of the 26 Schengen countries, they may be eligible to obtain a visa upon arrival in the United Arab Emirates. To assist visitors from Schengen countries in calculating the number of days they can remain in the UAE without overstaying, the GDRFA Dubai has created an online Schengen visa calculator.

Span
Individuals from Schengen countries who arrive in the UAE are eligible for an on-arrival visa and are permitted to remain in the country for a period of 90 days within a 180-day period. This visa is valid for the duration of the 180-day period and can be used multiple times within the same period. However, the total duration of the stay, whether it be a single stay or multiple entries, should not exceed the 180-day limit. It is possible to undertake multiple visits to the United Arab Emirates, provided that the total duration of the visits does not exceed as mentioned above.
How To Calculate?
Here’s a two-step guide to process the Visa Calculator
- Visit gdrfad.gov.ae and search for Schengen Visa Calculator (90/180) & click on the Start Service’ button.

If you have previously resided in the UAE within the last 180 days and are currently on your second or third trip in the UAE, please select the ‘Inside Country’ option.
