As a part of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 framework, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has a five-year residency program This program does not require a local sponsor, called Kafeel, and can also be renewed once for an additional five years after paying a nominal fee. As revealed in a report by Scene Now Saudi, this new program targets investors, high-income individuals, professionals, and scientists.
It’s worth mentioning that the scheme has been designed for high-skilled individuals and professionals with rare expertise or high income. Offering a range of benefits, these include everything from the ability to work in the private sector and established businesses to investing in real estate and accessing healthcare and education services that are generally reserved for Saudi citizens. Moreover, the residency holders can also travel freely in and out of the country while also issuing visas for their family members.
