Do not leave your Christmas booking for the last minute if you want to save big on flight journeys. According to a report by Hindustan Times, ticket fares charge the least about 58 days ahead of the preferred departure date. With 2 months and 10 days left for Christmas, start planning your trip already.
Google also shared suggestions for proper timings to book domestic and international flights. If you plan to travel domestically, booking flights 38 days ahead of your travel date is an ideal time. If international holiday is your plan for year-end vacations, it is highly advisable to start planning from a couple of months ahead. At least finalise your destination and book tickets about 101 days before the trip. In addition, you may find the most affordable tickets around 50 days before your departure date.
