You can now relish delish Punjabi treats like pakoras, parathas, and much more at Gulaabo in NYC. It is a swish new Punjabi haunt that is serving up delightful treats ready for your enjoyment. Gulaabo: A New Punjabi Joint At Theater District, NYC

This particular joint is all about serving up delicious flavourful treats. Led by the dynamic duo Chef Paramjeet Singh Bombra and Pastry Chef Sujan Sarkar. This particular duo has grown up in the Indian state of Punjab and both of them are intimately familiar with its flavour and essence.

It is their mission to bring these very flavours to the Big Apple. They describe their joint as a love letter to India and truly, its food is nothing short of mini-tours to the sub-continent. Located at 250 West 47th Street, it is a slightly upscale restaurant with a casual atmosphere.

Plus, it has great vegetarian options as Indian food and especially Punjabi food, has diverse vegetarian food options. So even if you’re not keen on non-vegetarian food, you can still enjoy lip-smacking vegetarian dishes.

Not The Duo’s First Rodeo

This is not the first time that the duo is venturing into the food and beverage industry. They previously collaborated when they established an Indian gastropub called Baar Baar. So you know that you’re getting served by experienced and seasoned hands.

For carnivores, there are dishes like Keema Kaleji, Khargosh Tara Boti, Rabbit Legs, Tandoor-Cooked Kababs, minced lamb, and more. Vegetarians can relish iconic dishes like Dahi Bhalla, an assortment of bread including stuffed Kulcha and rotis. You can also enjoy the famed Punjabi samosa with their house-made chutneys like the sweet and spicy Tamarind mint chutney with cilantro.
