Gurleen Pannu’s Shared All About Her Family
The comedy industry in India has only been growing for the past few years. It is certainly not one of the mainstream careers people usually go for. So, we wanted to know if Gurleen had a family background that supported her career choice. Turns out, she comes from a family of athletes. Her father, brother, and cousins are all professional sports players. Her brother, cousin, and father have played cricket professionally, while her cousin sister played tennis.
Not just that, Gurleen herself was very fond of sports when she was younger and tried her hand at many, including cricket and handball. She even played tennis quite professionally. She jokingly added that she soon realised she was ‘too good-looking’ to become an athlete and decided to concentrate on her studies. She chose the medical stream in school but later realised that wasn’t her true calling. Finally, during her college days in Chandigarh, she discovered her passion for comedy and the rest is history.
