Gurleen Pannu Knows She Is Not A Good Driver; This Is How She Prefers To Travel

We chatted with the hilarious Gurleen Pannu in this episode of Tere Gully Mein. We visited Delhi’s notorious Sarojini Nagar Market with her and ate all sorts of north Indian delicacies. The ever-funny Gurleen joked freely through conversations about her life. Gurleen is a delight in this episode and a great companion to explore Delhi’s bustling streets. While we were talking, Pannu told us she is not really a good driver! Let’s find out how she prefers to travel.

Gurleen Pannu Is Not A Good Driver; Here’s Why

We talk to Pannu about dating spots in Chandigarh. Our host asks her about some good dating spots around the city. Gurleen tells us that Chandigarh has a lot of great dating spots. They would go to malls and drive around. There was a special ‘gedi’ route for dates too! Chandigarh is famous for its gedis. Saying this, the host asked Pannu if she enjoys driving too, having spent so much of her young adult life in the city. Pannu is caught for a minute and confesses that she can’t drive!

She tells us that she has learnt how to drive but she just can’t drive. “Merese nahi chalti yar,” she admits to us. She has tried a lot but she is just unable to, she says. We ask her if this is because she hit someone or something untoward happened and now the fear has set in. She tells us that the fear was always there but she has never hit anything with a car. She is afraid that in the crowded streets, she might accidentally hit someone. And she knows that she’ll get beaten up! Gurleen says that she just knows that she’ll be a bad driver. Her mind, body and soul have accepted it, she says.

“So then you are a passenger princess?” our host asks her and she laughs saying she’s no type of princess. But I’m definitely a passenger, she admits. She goes on to tell us that this inability to drive has made her very dependent on people. She always has to beg and whine to people to take her places. She prefers to take autos and Mumbai is a very convenient place for that. Walking is the best way to go anywhere, she jokes. Our host agrees saying that walking keeps one in good health and it doesn’t cause pollution, too!

The most that’ll happen is that you’ll fall or get hit by a car, our host jokes along. Pannu adds on exclaiming that she’s not suggesting that we should be walking around like mad men! Pannu also shares with us that she has horrible judgement while crossing roads in traffic. Watch the video to know more about her shenanigans.
