This consortium will manage both duty-free and retail operations at NIA. Heinemann, a globally renowned travel retail specialist, will handle the duty-free section. Meanwhile, BWC Forwarders, an Indian company with extensive experience in travel retail logistics, will oversee domestic and international duty-paid retail.
NIA is set to revolutionise India’s domestic retail experience with its innovative “market walkthrough concept”. The space will feature leading international brands and renowned Indian labels, offering a diverse selection.
The airport also aims to showcase the rich cultural heritage of Uttar Pradesh, offering a variety of regional artefacts, textiles, woodwork, jewellery, and metalwork, all sourced locally, and providing a unique sense of place and a chance to experience the timeless allure of Uttar Pradesh’s craftsmanship.

A New Standard For Airport Retail
The international duty-free section offers a variety of premium goods, including liquors, tobacco, confectionery, perfumes, cosmetics, and chocolates. It also includes fashion accessories, regional handicrafts, and Ayurvedic products. Foodies can enjoy packaged food, tea, coffee, and spices.
Mr. Christoph Schnellmann, Chief Executive Officer of Noida International Airport stated that this partnership will provide a seamless blend of duty-free and retail shopping, catering to the diverse needs of travellers. This collaboration will set a new standard for airport retail, creating an unparalleled shopping experience for travellers at Noida International Airport.

Noida International Airport, blending Indian hospitality with Swiss technology, will serve 12 million passengers annually in its first phase, and 70 million by completion, offering a world-class travel experience.
