Yes, according to a report by Khaleej Times, this festival kicked off on Thursday, June 15, which attracted many residents. The best bit was that they were left spoilt for choice with the many options of freshly harvested dates. At this festival, guests can expect about eight stores that are offering a wide range of dates grown locally and from neighbouring countries as well. Moreover, the report also mentioned that this festival is going to run till September.

You Can Expect Around 30 Types Of Dates
This is touted to be a particularly successful addition, as the participation of vendors included those from across the country and the Gulf region. As it happens, people can expect around 30 types of dates available at the ongoing fiesta, and more are being added. Some of the popular choices here include Al-Muzaini, Al-Jabri, Al-Baql, Nagal, Khneizi, Al-Salani, Al-Hilali, Al-Khashkar, Al-Khasab, Bu Maan, Barhi, Lulu, Khalas, Khadrawi, and Shishi, to name a select few.
