What Is It?

Established on 26th February 1984, the museum is founded and designed by Bhanu Shah. He collected information from various sources and displayed them in forms of illustrations and photographs.

What’s In It?

The museum is a sheer reflection of Bhanu’s passion and love for the kites. You can find kites made out of different kinds of materials like paper, nylon, cotton and bamboo. The museum also boasts creative kites that have figures of Gandhiji and Nehru, a collage of miniature kites, and a kite made from 400 pieces of paper.

You’ll spot kites at the museum that are 70 years old, hexagonal Japanese kites, kites with miniature paintings and kites that exude creativity with artistic expressions.
