This episode of Sunday Brunch packed double the action as we hosted not one but two action heroes, Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff! Our Editor-in-Chief Kamiya Jani spoke about a variety of things, from their latest movie ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ to their favourite food items. Rest assured, we ate and chatted to our heart’s content in this entertaining episode. Akshay Kumar also enlightened us on Delhi’s Paratha Galli and a special delicacy that you won’t find anywhere else.

Heard Of Langori? Akshay Kumar Describes This Unique Dish

Both Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff came on our show for the first time. We couldn’t wait to speak to them about all things food. As it turns out, Akshay lived in Chandni Chowk for some time and Kamiya brought it up.

She specifically emphasised the different gallis dedicated to specific food items and Akshay Kumar spoke about Parathe Wale Galli. He said that there are at least 60 to 70 types of parathas available there. In addition to lip-smacking parathas, there’s a delicious food called Langori.

As per Akshay’s description, it is essentially a mall mathri puri that is filled with aloo sabzi and chutney. You eat the entire puri much like you would a pani puri. However, there is no pani involved here. Then, you have a spoonful of halwa. We bet the flavour profile is interesting AF!

While speaking about all things food, Akshay Kumar told us that on Sundays, his breakfast typically consists of South Indian fare. Idlis and dosas abound on his table as his kids, too, love it a lot.

We also spoke to Tiger Shroff a lot and asked him about the origin of his name. We wanted to know why he was named after the big cat and his reason shocked us and made us laugh all at once! Want to know what it is? Watch the episode to find out!
