Northern Italy is going through one of the worst natural calamities of all time. The region of Emilia-Romagna in North Italy is witnessing the worst floods in the country in about a century. This region and its residents have not seen something so horrifying, dramatic, and life-threatening before. Massive rainfall and storms have destroyed several places, leading to the death of many residents. The condition of this region looks scary and tense.
Floods At Emilia-Romagna In Italy Devastated The Residents’ Lives

Disastrous rainfall leading to floods turned out to be the biggest concern and most fatal days for everyone. Areas are waterlogged with water reaching the waist, entering the houses, and destroying the belongings. Floods, storms, and landslides rushed into the region of Emilia-Romagna, leaving everyone in chaos and homeless. According to a report by the Guardian, about 21 riverbanks burst with more and more waterlogging in the areas. Residents were bound to climb up their rooftops to save their lives. The worst part of all is that about 9 people have already lost their lives.

Many places in this North Italy region saw floods reaching as high as 20 inches in just about 36 hours. According to a report by Deccan Herald, officials stated that about 5000 people had to leave their homes to save their lives from this massive impact of natural disasters. People crying in loss, pain, and sadness are unbearable to see.
Major Rescue Operations Are Going On All Around!

Thousands of people are trapped in this unforeseen situation. There is not a single scope left to save the belongings and their houses. Helicopters are flying all around to save the residents in many areas. Rescue workers are walking in between logged roads to protect people and evacuate them to somewhere safe. They are working relentlessly in the flooded places to save as many lives as possible.

The disaster shattered houses, agricultural lands, shops, and whatnot. People could see their belongings swaying away in the flood force but they could not save anything.
Italy has been the victim of such scary floods a few times in about a year. Climate change and its consequences are evident and such unusual floods are the biggest examples.
