One of the best sweet shops has survived bang in the center of Delhi for years. People who’ve just finished touring CP head to this all veg place for softest Rasgullas, chaat, chhole bhature always with a side of badam milk. There’s a hurdle outside every time you go with people deciding how much their appetites are worth.

2. Evergreen Sweet House
They’re huge, they’re clean and they keep everything you can’t find anywhere else. Their food is always fresh and perfectly cooked. They’re famous for impeccable hygiene. Rasmalai cannot get better than this place. Their lassi and jalebi is pretty good too.

3. Old Famous Jalebi Wala
Somehow, by the most mysterious miraculous magic, their jalebi is very very fat and very crispy at the same time! It’s been forever since we’re trying to figure out how, but no one can. All you can do is eat them. They’re extremely famous in the city and every tourist tries at least one.

4. Nathu’s Sweets
Their sweetness is spread all over the city. They’re known as one of the best sweet shops by anyone who knows anything about Delhi at all. They’re big on festivals. Diwali sees big hamper vibes and massive increase in production and sale. The Dhodha barfis are a specialty here.

5. Chaina Ram
The typical Indian sweets done right is what makes them one of the best sweet shops in Delhi. They’re the oldest but they never get old. What can we say, Delhi has had its sweet scene sorted since 1901. Wedding season favourite dal ka halwa is the best here.

6. Kamala Sweets
Entering this little nook is like stepping into desi ghee. The smell is all the proof you need to confirm your sweets are made of real ghee. They do a mean chamcham which is a Bengali specialty. For 75 years this sweet shop has served shahi tukda. For Delhi dwellers, this delicacy needs no introduction. This one dessert makes them one of the best sweet shops in the city. What we love about our visits here is the lore the owner never runs out of.

8. Haldiram’s
Every food court, every festival, every home in Delhi has traces from this one. They’re without a doubt one of the best sweet shops, no contest. They guarantee quality and carry goodwill. We love the chaat in this place but honestly, they’re perfect for any occasion, any mood.

9. Mithapur
Formerly and eternally known as Mithaas, this is among the best sweet shops in the city. They have the best ghujiya during Holi, trust us, we’ve gone around town eating every ghujiya we could find. Their Diwali is just as happening with college students flooding the place 24×7 (or as long as they’re open).

Another popular and abundant restaurant with uncountable renditions, they’re one of the best sweet shops in Delhi. They know how to prep for Diwali or rather help you do so. They’ve got great samosas, dhoklas and laddus. They also have the occasional pastry and brownie stash.
