GDRFA Gives Children A Warm Welcome At DXB During Eid Holidays
The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai left no stone unturned to ensure the kids arriving at the Dubai International Airport during the Eid al-Adha holiday receive a warm welcome. In collaboration with Dubai Passport officers, the first group of children that arrived at the premises were greeted by their favourite local cartoon characters, Salem and Salama and Modesh and Dana. In fact, these children were also escorted from the door of the aircraft and were taken to the passport counters.
According to a report by Dubai Media Office, these children were given a unique opportunity to even stamp their own passports!

This Was Done For Fostering A Happy Atmosphere During The Festival
Besides being greeted by the popular aforementioned local characters and getting the opportunity to pose for photographs and videos with them, they also received commemorative gifts. It should be noted that this initiative comes as a part of the GDRFA’s ongoing efforts that aim at fostering an atmosphere of happiness during the festival. Not to mention, this also marked the inauguration of the 29th edition of the Dubai Shopping Festival! As it happens, these children were given a unique opportunity to launch the new platforms in the arrival halls of terminals 1 and 2 at the airport.
So, what do you think about this warm and welcoming experience? Doesn’t it sound like something that would be a part of a child’s core memories?
