HH Sheikh Mohammed just announced that he will be covering the medical expenses of a British expat, who had a horrific accident earlier this month.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, is covering the medical bill of a British expat.

24-year old Rebecca is fighting for life, after a horrific horse-riding accident earlier this month. Her hospital bills touched a whopping AED 402,000 and unfortunately, her insurance wouldn’t cover the costs. His Highness Sheikh Mohammed has now announced that he would be covering up Rebecca’s bills. Talk about kindness and gratitude!

Rebecca has so far undergone two surgeries in her brain. Sheikh Mohammed has requested the doctors to take good care of the young lady, and her family who is unable to bear the expenses. Although Rebecca regained consciousness on 12 May, she is not completely out of danger and has a long road ahead of recovery.
