Yellow Alert Issued In The State
According to the X post shared by Sidharth Shukla (@sidhshuk), a yellow alert has been issued in Himachal Pradesh for rainfall. The warning is for the next four days. It has been some time since the rainy season began disrupting the surroundings here.
A total of 15 roads were shut for any vehicular movement. 12 of these roads are in Mandi, 2 in Kinnaur, and 1 in the Kangra district. Crops, kutcha houses, and vulnerable structures have the risk of facing damages in the next few days if the weather turns horrible.
If you have plans to drive on the Manali-Leh Highway or travel to Manali or any of these risky locations in Himachal Pradesh, it is better to postpone your plans. The ongoing monsoon season can worsen the present conditions at any unexpected moment.
