Himachal Pradesh Starts Online Bookings For Pujas & Havans At Mata Chintpurni Shakti Peetha

Himachal Pradesh is not just a state welcoming holidaymakers and trekkers. The hilly destination is also targeting pilgrims by offering e-connectivity services to its famous temples and shakti peethas including its revered Mata Chintpurni temples. This move will increase connectivity to these temples and offer the added benefit of convenience for pilgrims.

Himachal Pradesh Starts E-Connectivity To Mata Chintpurni Shakti Peetha

According to a report by The Times Of India, the Himachal Pradesh government has introduced a new initiative to e-connect its temples and shakti peethas. This is done to offer convenience to devotees who are unable to visit these temples in person. State government officials revealed to TOI that pilgrims can connect with the temple priests, make online booking for pujas and havans.

Also, the software will suggest auspicious timings for devotees to perform rituals that give them a whole-rounded spiritual experience, even at a distance. Moreover, this software is already in the works. The pilot project will take place at the revered Mata Chintpurni temple in the Una district. Nestled at a height of 977 metres, this temple is one of the major shakti peethas in India. As per beliefs, a part of Sati’s feet fell at the temple and it’s now worshipped.

Make Online Bookings For Rituals At Temples In The State

The pilot project at Mata Chintpurni temple facilitates online bookings for jagran, bhandara and havan. Devotees can make these online bookings at the shakti peetha. Soon after, Himachal Pradesh will expand its e-connectivity to other famous temples in the state. To boost religious tourism, the state will also develop its key temples like Baba Balak Nath temple in Hamirpur district. Perched in a natural cave, here, goats are offered to Babaji not to be sacrificed but to be nurtured.

Apart from religious tourism, Himachal Pradesh has also taken steps to promote adventure and medical tourism in the state. Now, with the implementation of online bookings to revered temples and shakti temples in the state, pilgrims have more reason to visit Himachal.
