Himachal Pradesh Recorded A Surge In Tourist Footfall This Year
In comparison to the first 5 months of 2023, this beautiful state saw a 3.5 per cent jump in tourists till May 2024. This year, 7,464,184 travellers have explored Himachal Pradesh till the end of May, according to a report by Business Standard. Among over 74 lakh wanderlusters in this state, 32,415 visited from overseas countries. 7,202,956 tourists travelled to this state during the same period in 2023, Manasi Sahay Thakur, Tourism and Civil Aviation Director shared. Around 23,174 were from foreign nations.

Solan has followed Kullu as the second-most travelled destination and welcomed 1,041,074 travellers. Kasauli and Chail in the Solan district are becoming scenic hotspots for nature enthusiasts. Shimla welcomed 999,065 visitors, according to a report by CNBC TV18.
