Hina Khan Talks About A South African Cancer Survivor

While speaking about her journey in grappling with Stage 3 breast cancer, Hina Khan revealed that there are a number of people who provide her with the strength she needs. Kamiya noted that her perseverance gave strength to many people, and that’s when she mentioned this interesting person.

Hina stated that just as her struggles give others strength, she has also gained immeasurable strength by the struggles that she has seen other people go through. She then went on to talk about this online friend of hers who has become a major source of strength for Hina.

She lives in South Africa and is a cancer survivor herself. Turns out, she discovered Hina because of her posts about her cancer struggles and has been in touch ever since. She shares her recovery stories and pictures of her hair growing. This is doubly special because she’s a hijabi and doesn’t show her hair to anyone!
