2. 4000 Years Old Fortified Town Discovered
Recently, a 4000-year-old fortified town was discovered in Saudi Arabia. Yes, it revealed how life at the time was slowly changing from nomadic to urban existence. These were the remains of a town dubbed Al-Nateh that had been concealed by the walled oasis of Khaybar. In fact, this is an ancient 14.5 km long wall and it was discovered at the site by French archaeologist Guillaume Charloux.

Recently, Oman Air took to its official account on X to announce that it had received the most procedures award in the aviation industry. Yes, they receive the APEX World Class Award for the Business Class lounge at their Muscat International Airport. Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi has launched an event licensing guideline. Yes, this aims to streamline and standardise the event licensing processes. As a result, it’s going to offer detailed guidance on the procedure and the requirement for obtaining licenses across several types of events to support the growth in the sector.

Recently, the Dubai RTA announced that it had completed a series of traffic enhancements in Oud Metha. Yes, as part of the 2024 Quick Traffic Solutions plan, the upgrades aim to optimise the road network of the emirate. It included enhancement to the entry and exit points from Umm Hurair Street to Oud Metha. As a result, 317 m deceleration and acceleration lanes have been added for inbound and outbound traffic.
