Hyderabad: Food Safety Task Force Raids Kohinoor Dairy Products
According to an article which was recently published by NDTV, the establishment, Kohinoor Dairy Products, is located in the Peerzadiguda in the Medchal district. The official handle of the CFS took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to share their findings about the establishment.
As per the post, the dairy establishment failed multiple health and safety standards. They did not have proper records and their paperwork was shoddy. They also mentioned that the entire place was in unhygienic conditions and that it looked like a dump.
In addition to these violations, they also did not display the license by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India or FSSAI prominently. What is more, the workers also lacked FoSTaC training. FoSTaC stands for Food Safety Training and Certification.
Other Raids Carried Out By The CFS Telangana
On October 16, 2024, the CFS conducted a number of inspections at Shawarma vending units. These units were primarily located in the Secunderabad region of Hyderabad. Here as well, a number of food health violations were found.
The authorities are diligent about securing the food safety of people in the region and hence, routinely conduct such inspections. Their inspection also serves as a reminder for other establishments to ensure food safety at their own food joints.
It is hoped that strict action will be taken against the violators of these regulations and that these violations will not happen again.
