Due to their affordability and ease of use, the metro systems in India’s major states are a benefit to travellers. This system is made even more convenient as the tickets can be booked from the phone itself. The cloud communication platform service provider Route Mobile has teamed up with Hyderabad Metro Rail and Mumbai-based Billeasy to offer a distinctive ticketing experience through Rich Communication Services (RCS) and Google Wallet.
Benefits Of Booking E-Tickets & Saving Them In Google Wallet
This new ticket booking experience has a lot of advantages. This new feature will allow commuters to book e-tickets, save them in Google Wallet, and access them across various channels. Commuters no longer have to stand in lines or download other apps because RCS allows them to order tickets straight from Google Messages, an Android messaging service. By choosing their source, destination, and ticket type, they scan a QR code and text the official L&T Metro Rail handle.
Paying with UPI is quick and safe, and tickets are kept in Google Wallet for convenient phone access. This feature is limited to Android users at this time and operates within the Google Messages app.

With its accessible skywalks and intermodal connectivity, the integrated urban transport development project ushers in a new era of smooth commutes throughout Hyderabad. Three corridors will make up the 69.2 km Hyderabad Metro Rail Network: Corridor I will connect Miyapur to LB Nagar, Corridor II will connect JBS to MGBS, and Corridor III will connect Nagole to Raidurgam.
The Hyderabad Metro Rail (HMR) project aims to improve the Mass Rapid Transit System (MRTS) infrastructure, reduce pollution, and ease traffic congestion in order to raise the city’s liveability index. Larsen & Turbo (L&T) was given the project, and it was carried out using the Design-Built-Finance-Operate-Transfer (DBFOT) methodology.
