The actress posted on social media about her intense feelings regarding the journey, spirituality, and the strength of a motherās joy. Preity Zinta, accompanied by her mother, travelled to Mahakumbh in Varanasi to take blessings on Mahashivratri. She explained how the journey, which was first planned by her mother, ended up being a very personal vocation for her.
Because of the sheer number of people, cars were limited beyond a point and had to pass through various means of transport, ranging from cars and auto-rickshaws to cycle rickshaws, before finally covering miles on foot to arrive at the Kashi Vishwanath Temple.
In spite of the huge gathering, Preity noted that the mood was good, with individuals showing patience and generosity. A Historic Midnight Aarti At Kashi Vishwanath Temple
Preity and her mom did eventually arrive at the Kashi Vishwanath Temple at midnight and got to watch the midnight Aarti. Although the moment only lasted a few seconds because there was no VIP pass, she enjoyed the experience.
She thought that it was not the destination but the journey, and seeing the smile on her motherās face made all the effort worth it. In the end, itās not where we arrive but the memories and emotions we carry with us.
Her emotional post was a reminder of the importance of parental love, and she said that the highest seva (service) is towards parents because their joy is the greatest benediction. She also pointed out how individuals realise their parentsā worth only after becoming parents themselves.
