The last time our Editor-in-Chief Kamiya Jani met actor Randeep Hooda, they went horse-riding. This time, the setting for the Sunday Brunch oozes fun, romance and love as he is joined by none other than his wife Lin Laishram. The Haryanvi Jatt and his lady love, Manipuri beauty shared authentic thalis from Manipur with us and even spilled beans on what keeps their romance going.

Lin Laishram Reveals How Randeep Hooda Expresses Love

During the laid-back chat, Kamiya asked Lin Laishram if Randeep Hooda was a romantic and expressive husband. She said, “Candles, gifts… yeh bilkul nahin karta hai. He is very practical when it comes to that.” Lin shares, “He is very expressive. He will hug me in the middle of the day. Give me a few kisses and just run away.”

At this point, Randeep interjects and says, “And make fun of you.” Lin instantly jumped at it and said her husband made fun of her. For Randeep, teasing your partner is a Haryanvi way of expressing love. The doting wife said, “It’s sweet that he buys me little trinkets. That’s a very different side of him. He always finds a jewellery store since he knows I love jewellery. He goes and buys something on his own every trip.”

He Buys Cute Trinkets For Her

Kamiya was of course amused to imagine a Haryanvi boy walking into a jewellery store and purchasing cute trinkets for his wife. “Karna padta hai bhai. Karna padta hai,” smiled Randeep. Our Sunday feast acquainted us with the Manipuri flavours. We enjoyed Singju, a spicy vegetable and rice salad, prawn soup, Chak Hao Kheer and more.

The couple graciously shared fun moments from their wedding with us. The forest-loving duo revealed their trip to Coonoor too where they drove down winding forest paths.
