From palaces to forts and culture, everything about Rajasthan speaks volumes about its rich history and lineage. And to explore more of this beautiful state, I recently visited the Blue City of India, also known as the Sun City- Jodhpur. And while the beautiful city of Jodhpur bewitched me, it was my stay that impressed me more. Located in the Old City, Aura B&B is a quaint heritage haveli turned into a B&B that offers beautiful rooms with breakfast at an affordable rate. And while the rooms are well-maintained and the hosts are kind and caring, it’s the view and location that impressed me.

The property is located within 1km of major tourist attractions like Toorji Ka Jhalar, Mehrangarh Fort, Jaswant Thada, and Clock Tower. You can easily walk around and explore these places. And the host of the property- Prafull Mehra and his parents, will guide and help you with everything you need.

Enjoy Home-Cooked Rajasthani Meals At Affordable Rates

When it comes to food, the breakfast is included in the package and is Al Carte-based. Whatever you want to eat, the hosts will make that for you. Here, you not only get the homely feel but also get to relish home-cooked meals. For breakfast, I usually had poha and upma, but for dinner, I requested my host to cook authentic Rajasthani food, and trust me, it’s one of the best meals I’ve had in Jodhpur. More than the food, it was their hospitality that bowled me over.
