In a recent episode of Tere Gully Mein, Curly Tales met with one of the top YouTubers and mimicry artists of India, Purav Jha. This episode was all about exploring the streets of Delhi’s Paschim Vihar with him and his favourite food spots in the area. From wraps to ice cream, we enjoyed it all with the brilliant artist while getting a deep dive into his life as a YouTuber, his relationship with his family members, his childhood stories, and a lot more. While Purav Jha has an established career as a YouTuber, we also found out if he has a backup plan. Read on to learn all about it.
Purav Jha Has An Interesting Backup Plan For His Career
While waiting for some amazing North Indian delicacies at the popular restaurant Sandoz—one of Purav Jha’s favourite spots in the city—we were curious to learn if he has ever thought of a backup plan in case his career as a YouTuber and content creator doesn’t work out. He instantly replied, “Of course I have a backup plan,” and jokingly added that he has an e-rickshaw.
As soon as his career as a content creator starts going south, he’s going to ride that e-rickshaw, and since he’s also well-versed in making Litti Chokha, he can start selling that on the street. Joining in the fun, we added that since Curly Tales is a food and travel platform, we could definitely help him promote his endeavour as a street food vendor.
But on a serious note, Purav Jha also shared that he believes times are uncertain and anything can happen at any time, so it is better to be prepared than be sorry. He certainly has a backup plan and is trying his hand at multiple businesses. His philosophy is that everyone should have a backup plan—and even that backup plan should have a backup plan. It certainly sounds like great planning.

This Is How He Judges A Restaurant
When it comes to deciding if a restaurant serves delicious food or not, Purav Jha has an interesting theory. While enjoying some delicious food at Sandoz, he revealed that if you have to judge a restaurant and the food it serves, just try and see if they are serving delicious green chutney or not. This combination of green chutney and onions is usually served before the meal at most North Indian restaurants—and in all honesty, not all of them do it right. According to Purav Jha, if this first step is being done right, you can expect good food.
In this episode, he also revealed his go-to dating spots in Delhi and his skincare routine as well. Watch the full episode on the Curly Tales YouTube channel to learn all about it.
