IIFA Awards is undoubtedly one of the biggest award functions in the Indian film industry. Yes, and Bollywood’s biggest night is returning to Yas Island in Abu Dhabi. With several Bollywood celebrities gathering together to celebrate the world of cinemas, they’re all set to gather once again. We say this because IIFA Awards is returning to the Etihad Arena on September 28 and you can actually watch your favourite stars at the dazzling event.
IIFA Returns To Yas Island In September
This year, the event is going to combine IIFA Utsavam, which celebrates the biggest of South Indian Cinema. This will be happening on September 27 and it will then culminate with IIFA Rocks, which is a mega music concert. Yes, it will feature some of the top Indian stars and the dazzling event will be taking place on September 29. The event is already hitting headlines with the news of Bollywood superstar, Shah Rukh Khan and filmmaker Karan Johar hosting the award night. While not too many details have been revealed yet, a report by the National News mentioned that Shahid Kapoor will also be one of the performers at the award show.
Initially, the IIFA Utsavam was scheduled for September 6 and 7, however, it was later pushed back. It is expected some of the biggest Southern stars, such as Rana Daggubati, Diya Menon and Vijay Raghavendra may host the show.

Tickets For The Mega Bollywood Event Is Live
However, it’s worth mentioning that IIFA Awards is returning to the UAE capital for the third time and tickets are already on sale. Yes, you actually have a chance to watch your favourite Bollywood stars live if you snag the tickets for the big night ASAP! Available for AED100, the tickets go up to AED750. These tickets grant the holder one-time entry to the Etihad Arena with no re-entry rights. In case you’re wondering, the tickets are available on the official website of Etihad Arena from where you can purchase the same. As it happens, tickets for IIFA Rocks and IIFA Utsavam are also live.
