A Redditor shared a horrible experience of travelling in an Ola auto in Bangalore. The user is from Chennai and reached Bangalore at 4:30 am. Then, he booked an Ola auto which showed ₹364 fare. However, the driver demanded to raise the fare by 1.5x which he refused at first but then settled for ₹450.
The driver annoyed him by refusing to let him inside the gated complex after they arrived. The user declared he would not make any payment. The driver began verbally harassing and threatening him in front of the community’s gate, completely unaffected by the presence of security personnel.
The user retaliated angrily, claiming that the place he had entered was inside. However, the driver eventually agreed to drop him off. Once inside, he requested 1.5 times the fare instead of the ₹450 that had been agreed upon.

The driver continued to intimidate and mistreat the user when he refused to pay, but he refused to back down and continued. He eventually asked for the ₹450 and walked away, all the while threatening to teach the user a lesson if he went outside.
Now, the user is concerned about his safety though he has raised a complaint on Ola which probably won’t be of any use. The driver has the address and phone number and asks what he should do.
