In addition, IMD warned of colder temperatures in the national capital, Haryana, Punjab, and parts of Uttar Pradesh. According to a report by Business Standard, weather updates state that the cold wave is likely to intensify.
Mumbaikars, the weather in your city is predicted to be quite clear on Friday. The maximum temperature is likely to be 35°C. Its minimum temperature is about 19.3°C. The city’s Air Quality Index stands at 124.
Pune’s weather has started to get colder now. Today, the city reported minimum and maximum temperatures of 16.71°C and 28.1°C. Pune’s Air Quality Index is at 170 today.
Kolkatans, if you have not put your blankets under the sun yet, do it ASAP. The ‘City of Joy’ is about to get colder. On Thursday, Kolkata recorded this season’s coldest day with the temperature dropping to 13.8°C. Met officials informed that the mercury will dip in West Bengal’s Bankura, Birbhum, Purulia, East Burdwan, and West Burdwan districts due to a cold wave.
Weather Forecast About Different Places In South India
IMD issued a yellow alert for heavy rainfall in Bengaluru. Urban Bengaluru, Bengaluru Rural, Chitradurga, Dakshina Kannada, Kolar, Ramanagara, and Udupi districts are expected to receive heavy showers, according to a report by Livemint.
In addition, the weather update is likely to change in several areas in Karnataka, Puducherry, and Tamil Nadu. Namachivayam, Puducherry Education Minister, declared a holiday for schools and colleges in Karaikal and Puducherry.
