In the upcoming week, Karnataka’s weather will shift. Bengaluru and many other parts of the state will experience warm, dry days followed by rain. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), Bengaluru will face dry and warm weather over the next couple of days. However, a pleasant change is also on the way.
Weather Conditions To Change In Karnataka Soon
For Bengaluru people, the weather is predicted to be warm and partly cloudy on May 12th and 13th. The temperature during the day will stay around 31 to 32 °C, the Jagran reported. During the night, the minimum temperature will drop to 21 °C. While the weather will be cloudy, no significant rainfall is predicted.
However, this hot period is expected to change after May 14th. IMD has predicted light showers that will bring some relief from the soaring temperatures. After this point, the city will enjoy cloudy skies with occasional rainfall. However, the temperature is expected to remain stable at 31 to 32 °C during the day.
In the coastal regions of Karnataka, including Udupi, Uttara Kannada and Dakshina Kannada, the weather will be more extreme, according to the Jagran reports. From May 11 to May 16, these areas are predicted to experience light to moderate rain with gusty winds with speeds of 30 to 50 km/h. Areas like Belagavi, Dharwad, Bagalkot and Kalaburagi will also experience similar conditions. The gusty winds with light rainfall will bring a pleasant change in these districts.

On May 13-16, widespread rainfall across these regions is expected. Especially on May 13-14, the rainfall will bring much-needed relief from the hot temperatures.
IMD has also predicted an overall increase in rainfall across the state after May 12, as per the Jagran reports. Regions like Chamarajanagar, Kolar, Ramanagara, and Devanagere will also experience moderate rain showers by mid-week.
In the coming week, Karnataka’s weather will offer both sunshine and heavy rain spread across different parts of the state.
