The idols were immersed at the R K Beach, Bheemli beach, Jodugulla palem beach, Rushikonda beach and Pudimadaka beach.

A research advisor at a marine biological laboratory in the state said that the materials used to make the idols are often made of up harmful chemicals and materials that are hazardous to the marine environment.What’s In It?
The immersing of these idols causes pollution in the sea and causes a high impact on the aquatic life. The seabed supports a large amount of life and the harmful materials that settle down have an adverse effect on the organisms of the marine environment.
The only way to go about this is the eco-friendly way and adopting certain methods such as dumping off toxic and insoluble material in the dustbins on the shore.
