In Delhi’s Janakpuri Area, There Is A Huge Hole Right In The Middle Of The Road!

Janakpuri is Delhi’s affluent area and a main commercial centre for shoppers. Recently, a video of the Janakpuri’s road went viral and it featured a huge hole right between the road. The locals were astounded by the condition of the roads and have been asking the government to rectify it. Take a look at the condition of Janakpuri’s road.

There Is A Huge Hole Right In The Middle Of The Road In Delhi’s Janakpuri

Early in the morning, a significant piece of an important road sank in the Janakpuri neighbourhood of South West Delhi. As soon as they arrived, police officers sealed the area along Possangipur Road. No one was hurt, according to the authorities, because there was no traffic crossing that stretch of road at the time.

There have been other routes allocated for all heavy vehicles. PWD officials, meanwhile, were unable to confirm why or how the cave-in took place. Even though there was a brief rainstorm in the neighbourhood on Tuesday, there hasn’t been any flooding in the area since.

The area was roped off in time to avert any adverse incident, according to the police, and responsible departments have been informed of the situation. The Pankha route in Janakpuri and the route leading from Mangolpuri into Janakpuri are both congested, according to information provided to the traffic police.

Locals Are Complaining About The Roads

One of the users asked the reason for roads to cave in. Why are there areas under the highways where people can cave in? Unless we are on a bridge, a flyover or passing a river, he has always believed that there is solid ground beneath the road.

Another user remarks that these craters resemble those on the moon. People in Delhi can now experience a moon-like surface. People have been criticising the government for poor road infrastructure. As for others, they are tagging the Delhi government and requesting to repair the road.

Also, there is the question of why this road was literally sunk and whether are there other roads that reflect the same condition.
