How The Vibrant Gujarat Summit Came About
The inception of the Vibrant Gujarat Summit was conceptualized in 2003 under the visionary leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi (the then Hon’ble Chief Minister of Gujarat) to boost the state’s economy. Over the years the summit has emerged as a key platform for the state’s rise in Per Capita Income, GDP growth, and the overall socio- economic growth.
Since its inception, the summit has brought together corporate leaders, industry leaders, investors, experts, academicians, and think tanks among others. The summit serves as a platform to engage in meaningful discussions, explore collaborative opportunities, and share insights on emerging trends. The multi-sectoral focus along with a pro-active governance and policies reflects the state’s commitment to holistic development.
