The Met department recently shared a major update that made all the visitors excited for the winter holiday. It is expected that places nestled at higher altitudes might witness snowfall during the last days of 2023. Hearing the news of snowing, travellers are getting too eager to explore the touristy locations and enjoy the picturesque views.

Abir Ghoshal (@abirghoshal) took to the microblogging site to post snow-covered surroundings of the Darjeeling district.

Some serene locations in the Eastern Himalayas of the district might receive snowfall or rainfall between December 31 and January 3, according to a report by Hindustan Times.
