The Namma Metro suggested cricket lovers take the metro train to get to Bengaluru’s Chinnaswamy Stadium on Sunday for the fifth Twenty20 match between Australia and India. Additionally, the Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation (BMRCL) has stated that metro hours will be extended on Sunday until 11.45 p.m.

According to the BMRCL announcement, they will be extending train services till 11.45 PM, departing from the four terminal metro stations on the Purple Line and Green Line, in anticipation of the T-20 Cricket match that will take place in Bangalore on December 3, 2023. On Sunday, all metro stations will sell one-time buy paper tickets, which are specifically intended for people who go to MG Road and Cubbon Park stations to watch cricket matches at Chinnaswamy Stadium.

Paper tickets for the return trip will also be on sale at all Metro stations starting at 2:00 PM on December 3, 2023. Read the notice in full. These paper tickets are good for a single trip up until the end of the day’s extended services, with the exception of Cubbon Park and MG Road Metro Station to any other Metro Station, on the same day of issuance starting at 8:00 PM.

The Namma Metro in Bengaluru was also extended earlier during the World Cup matches since people from all across the city used it as a handy public transport option to go to the city’s central venue, Chinnaswamy Stadium.

In the interim, commuters will be able to electronically purchase individual and group tickets through the WhatsApp bot without having to wait in queue thanks to the QR ticketing function.

In an effort to help families and groups using Namma Metro, BMRCL has implemented a QR group ticketing system to cut down on wait times at ticket booths in metro stations. The use of this facility is permitted as of November 16.

Ind Vs Aus 5th T20 Cricket Match:

India won the five-match series against Australia yesterday at Raipur. Right now, the visitors’ only hope in the final Twenty20 encounter in Bengaluru is to escape a humiliating 4-1 loss. India and Australia will play each other in the shortest format at Chinnaswamy Stadium for the first time since 2019.

Bengaluru will stage its first T201 encounter since it hosted a match between South Africa and India in June 2022. Regrettably, the match was called off after just 3.3 overs of play. Bengaluru boasts a good batting surface, and the narrow square boundaries add even more value for the batsmen.

In the initial overs, the pacers might receive some help, but as the game goes on, the surface only gets better for the batsmen.
