The world is filled with a wide variety of cuisines, each more unique than the last. While there are a few cuisines that are more popular than others, there is no denying that when it comes to food, there is no dearth of diversity! TasteAtlas has released a list of the world’s 100 best cuisines. As with any other TasteAtlas ranking, not everyone is pleased with the list and some people have some strong opinions about it.
India Ranks 12th In The List Of World’s 100 Best Cuisines
TasteAtlas released a list of the top 100 best cuisines in the world. Unfortunately, though, India did not feature in the top ten. In the comments section, a lot of people were significantly disappointed by this. As per the rankings, India bagged the 12th spot on the list.
The number one on this list was the Greek cuisine. Items like olives, wine, and a variety of meats are a staple in the cuisine. In addition to these, Greek food also uses a lot of dairy products like yoghurt and cheese. Types of bread, too, are quite prominently used in the cuisine.
Despite using meats, Greek food, like Indian food, has a wide array of vegetarian and plant-based meals, making them a popular choice for vegetarians and vegans alike!
The Following Are The Top Ten In The World
The following is the list of countries with the best cuisines in the world: –
- Greece
- Italy
- Mexico
- Spain

This list has understandably caused some stir in the comments section. The fact that England was even considered in the list of the top 50 did not sit well with a lot of people. In addition to this, the fact that the United States ranked 13 was also unacceptable to a lot of people.
