Amit Sial is a versatile actor who has made a mark with his powerful performances in many movies and web series. He has carved a niche for himself through his gritty, layered, and impactful acting skills, especially in series like Mirzapur, Inside Edge, Jamtara, and Maharani. And in the latest episode of Tere Gully Mein, we took a flavourful journey through Delhi’s Afghan Chowk with this very talented actor and spoke about his journey, struggles, bond with fellow actors, and lots more. Here’s how it went down.

Exploring Delhi’s Afghan Chowk With Actor Amit Sial

We explored and enjoyed Afghan cuisine in Delhi with actor Amit Sial. We stopped by iconic eateries like Mazaar Restaurant, known for its mouthwatering Afghan-Uzbeki, Chopaan Kebab, and Sheer Yak. We also tried out the famous Afghan Burger at a street stall, and wrapped up our food trail at Afghan Darbar Restaurant, savouring delicacies like Ashak and traditional kebabs.

During the food trail, the actor opened up like never before. He talked about his time in Australia and how he worked in convenience stores. When asked about his ‘struggle’, he corrected us and said, “Struggle nahi hai, maaze the life ke.”

He then came back to India, started working in an office, and also reconnected with his old theatre group. From there, his inner creative soul got back into theatre, and a call from Randeep Hooda led him to Mumbai.

In 2004, Amit Sial permanently shifted to Mumbai and decided to give his all to acting. When asked if he felt typecast as a villain, he shared that he initially took on negative roles due to the lack of “hero” characters, but eventually grew to enjoy portraying them.
