This time, we were joined by Karan Singh Magic – one of India’s most popular magicians, illusionists, and mind readers! He has performed for celebrities like Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan and Virat Kohli, and has read a million minds in his career spanning almost 23 years! Here’s how it went.
Tere Gully Mein With Karan Singh Magic
We explored the streets of GK Market in Delhi with Karan Singh Magic and devoured the amazing food at Moti Mahal Deluxe and Staple Bar & Bistro. While we ate, Karan opened up about his journey that started in 2002. For those who don’t know him, he is famous for using the audience as a prop while performing on stage and figuring out details like their ATM numbers, phone passwords, and basically everything that might be running through their minds!
Born in Mumbai but raised in Delhi, Karan Singh Magic is a Delhi guy through and through. He proved that when he said he wants nothing but butter chicken at Moti Mahal Deluxe because he is a Delhi ka ladka, after all! We couldn’t help but ask what got him interested in the magic world, and he said, “Main ek summer camp main gaya tha 2002 mein, and wahan mujhe ek magician mille the and he taught me a couple of tricks–the very basic ones. Gradually, I started doing other things. TV pe, I saw David Blaine and I was like: he’s very cool! I even Googled and learned some things there. I think this is the only profession where no one teaches you anything.”
As a mind reader, we were intrigued to know how long it takes for Karan Singh Magic to know what’s going on in the head of a person he’s meeting for the first time. He confidently replied, “4 seconds. You can figure out the basics of the person as soon as you meet them. I need to see the expressions of the person, it helps a lot!”

Shares How He Guessed Shah Rukh Khan’s ATM Pin
As mentioned before, Karan Singh Magic has performed for some of the biggest celebrities in India. He opened up about how excited Virat Kohli got when he performed for RCB, and he had one of the best reactions to his tricks to date! For the King of Bollywood, he ended up guessing his ATM pin! He jokingly added that while it was never recorded on video, if he wants, he can hack into the bank account of the world’s second richest entertainer!
