Meethika Dwivedi Finally Reveals The Inspiration Behind Her Famous Nibba-Nibbi Rant!

Known for her unbeatable humour and desi accent, Meethika Dwivedi joined us for a fun Tere Gully Mein episode in Lucknow. The viral content creator, aka The Sound Blaze, took us through chikankari shops, treated us to Lucknowi street snacks, and refreshing thandai at the famous Pandit Raja Thandai. But wait, the episode wasn’t just about food; we even talked about her Instagram journey and, of course, the inspiration behind her “nibba-nibbi rant!” Here’s what she revealed.

Meethika Dwivedi Talks About Her Inspiration Behind Nibba-Nibbi Reels

This Tere Gully Mein episode started with meeting Meethika at the historic Bada Imambada, where she shared how Lucknow is not only famous for its delicacies but also for its “tehzeeb”, a quality she believes isn’t found anywhere else. After that, we headed to explore chikankari shops, because honestly, a Lucknow trip is incomplete without coming back home without exploring these gems.

For a break, we made our way to Pandit Raja Thandai for a refreshing glass and a chit-chat session. Here, Meethika opened up about her Instagram journey, her first brand deal, her infamous desi accent, and much more. But what we really wanted to know was the actual inspiration behind her nibba-nibbi reels.

She laughed and said, “Saath ke bacho se milti thi.” (I got the inspiration from 7th-grade kids around me). She explained that she studied in an all-girls school, and many of her friends who had boyfriends outside often ended up fighting with them. One of these fights became the inspiration behind her first Nibba-Nibbi reel. She also shared how one girl blamed her for defaming her on social media, and even her boyfriend used to tease Meethika, saying, “Aur nayi reel aagayi?” (Is your new reel out?) Eventually, that couple broke up, and Meethika distributed sweets among her peers to celebrate the occasion. That incident made us laugh because, honestly, stories like these are quite common in every school.

We Played The Nibba-Nibbi Game

We then asked Meethika if she herself has any nibba-nibbi traits. She admitted that she used to think she had a big ego, but after being in a relationship, she often ends up consoling her partner after fights. We also played a quick game of “nibba-nibbi alert”, where we gave her a few situations and asked her if they qualified as nibba-nibbi traits. Her responses, as expected, were hilarious.

After this fun chat, we stopped at another iconic spot, Bajpayee Kachori, where Meethika spoke about her favourite hangout places in Lucknow, including Sharma Ji Ki Chai, Royal Cafe, and many more. The episode wrapped up with a walk along the Gomti Riverfront, where we talked about her life, her major turning point, and her favourite creators on social media. To know all those answers, you’ll have to watch the entire episode!
