Highest Career Points For Paresh Rawal And Shatrughan Sinha

With such iconic film careers behind them, we had to ask Paresh Rawal and Shatrughan Sinha what they see as the peak of their journeys. Paresh Rawal sir went first and said, “Jab main ‘Sardar’ film ki thi. Ek toh pheli biopic thi meri zindagi main, as an actor. Woh character play karne ke lie mujhe kafi zyada phadna pada, mujhe India ki history ke baare main pata chala. Uske baad main kahunga ki main ek acha nagrik (citizen) bana hun. Mera desh kitna mahan hai, yeah baat bhi mujhe samaj main aayi hai.”

Building on this, Shatrughan Sinha ji said, “Mujhe lagta hai kitna bhi karlo, fir bhi lagta hai ki isse bhi acha kar sakte the. Chetna, Milap, Mere Apne, Dost, Dostana, Kala Patthar, Shaan, Kalicharan, Vishwanath–inn sabhi films main sikhne ka bahut mauka mila. But uske bawajood lagta hai kash isko aise kiya hota, aur acha kiya hota, and mujhe lagta hai yeah achi quality hai and honi chahiye.”

What Is Their Definition Of Success?

Seeing how they have spent so many decades in the industry, what does success mean to both these great actors? “Mujhe mere kaam se santusthi milni chahiye. Main paiso ke mamlo main nahi bol raha, who bhi imporaant hai, but mujhe santosh bhi milna chahihe. Aur, ache logo ke sath kaam kiya. Paiso ke alawa bhi aap kafi cheeze ghar leke jaate hai, jaise relationships, exchange of thoughts, toh woh zaroori hai,” Paresh Rawal shared.
Shatrughan Sinha adds, “I agree with him on this. Also, kitne log aapko pyaar dete hai, success ke sath sath, woh bhi important hai. Kai log successful ho jaate hai, but unhone woh respect nahi earn kari hoti, so that’s important.”
