In the latest episode of Power Hour, our Editor-in-Chief, Kamiya Jani, met with Sara Tendulkar, the beautiful daughter of Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar, at her Pilates Academy in Mumbai. This session was, of course, about doing some Pilates with her but also getting to know about her diet, her skincare rituals, her travel stories, food at home, and a lot more. We also found out her go-to way of staying healthy. To know what it is, well, read on.
Sara Tendulkar Loves This Cheesy Dish
After a mind-blowing session of Pilates and getting to know what it is, Sara Tendulkar served us some smoothies that she made herself. It was evident that working out and eating right are a strong part of her lifestyle. We were curious to know if there is a particular diet that she follows. Sara revealed that while there is no specific diet she follows currently, the one thing she focuses on is avoiding too many carbs, even though she loves them, and avoiding sugar as much as she can.
Next, we asked her what, according to her, is the right way to stay healthy, whether it is working out regularly or maintaining a strict diet. Sara credited her brother for telling her that you can never skip workouts. According to him, there has to be a balance between the two if you want to be consistently healthy: the right amount of workout as well as a healthy diet. But as much as she believes this mantra, she personally feels that maintaining and being conscious about what she eats is a little bit more important.

The Tendulkar household is a multicultural one, with a Gujarati-British mom and a Maharashtrian dad. Sara Tendulkar enjoys a feast of different cuisines at home. We were curious to learn what a typical meal at the Tendulkar household looks like, and apparently, it’s a pleasant mix of everything. She revealed that they are all big foodies and love their food, from some British classics made by her mother’s mom, Gujarati dishes that her mother makes, and traditional Maharashtrian fare that her dad’s mom cooks for them. They truly love eating all of it. It sounds like a festival of flavours, doesn’t it?
