Hello, Curly Tales fam! We are back with yet another enjoyable Sunday brunch episode for you all. In the newest episode, our editor-in-chief, Kamiya Jani, visited the Mohan sisters, Neeti Mohan, Shakti Mohan and Mukti Mohan, to spend a fun afternoon at their Kandivali penthouse. Read on to learn about all the conversations they had while enjoying the delicious feast.
Shakti Mohan On Her Leg Accident
While enjoying lunch with the family, Kamiya asked Shakti Mohan about an incident she read online where she was injured and the doctor told her she wouldn’t be able to stand again. Shakti recalled the incident, saying, “I was crossing the road, and I had to bring Mukti back from the nursery.” She also mentioned that she was very excited, but in the meantime, her leg got caught in the bike’s wheel, which broke badly.

Neeti said that Shakti’s back and leg were both broken and that the injury was as big as an ankle and was burnt. Shakti also recalled the time and said, “I had plaster all over my leg, and I could not even sit up. It was so bad. I was just horizontal for 7 months straight.” She said that the fracture was so deep that she could not go to school and could not get up, play, eat, or do anything.
Shakti Mohan On Her Mother’s Love & Care
She further told Kamiya how her mother used to stay patient, and that is how everything worked out just fine. “My mom used to take me to the bathroom all the time. I think the patience that my mom taught me at that time was that she used to sleep with me. She used to leave everything and stay with me. She had patience. I think it’s because of her I am able to.”
She also said how the doctor informed the family that she wouldn’t be able to walk again, but it was her mother’s love and care that made her come out of the situation just fine. “But coming back, I think the doctor was right; I will not be able to walk again because I am flying,” she stated.
