In a special Tere Gully Mein episode, we tried out the best momo spots in Versova with actors Radhika Apte and Divyenndu Sharma. During the momo hunt, we stopped by hyped street stalls, explored unexpected surprises, tasted spicy momos and much more. Moreover, Radhika Apte also spoke about theatre vs acting in films. Here’s what she feels.

Radhika Apte And Divyenndu Sharma Speak About Acting

As Radhika Apte and Divyenndu Sharma. waited for their momo order at Darjeeling Lepcha Momos, we asked the duo about the difference between performing on stage vs for the camera. “I don’t know about difficulty. But there are differences and similarities. You draw from each other,” Radhika explains. Moreover, the actress stated that theatre is a live performance. It’s about doing a repeated piece which is well rehearsed for years, and then receiving reactions from a live audience.

For Divyenndu Sharma, acting in front of the camera is much more difficult than on stage. “In theatre, you have a graph from A to Z. And you move in that order,” Divyenndu says. He adds, “In films, the most difficult part is that your first day could be acting out scene number 37.” “So, you need to have that graph crystal clear in your mind, the technicalities of the camera too.”
