The perfect Sunday Brunch is one with lots of food, endless laughter and the most riveting tales. In any order! Our Friendship Day Sunday brunch had our Editor-in-Chief, Kamiya Jani, lunching with Bollywood besties Sanya Malhotra and Aparshakti Khurana. The celebrity duo spoke about everything under the sun, including food and friendships. Singer-actor Aparshakti Khurana also revealed his thoughts about being friends with siblings.

Aparshakti Khurana Reflects On Your Father & Uncle’s Friendship

After a hearty North Indian meal at Khao Piyo in Mumbai, the Bollywood besties and Kamiya Jani tucked into their desserts. On the table was Gulab Jamun, ice creams and Kulfi with Rabdi. While savouring each mouthful of their desserts, Kamiya posed a question to them: What has your equation been with your siblings?

Aparshakti revealed that he is glad that he knows Sanya’s sister very well, and she knows his brother, actor Ayushmann Khurrana, very well. “My father used to tell me that he only wanted Sanni and nothing else in the world. Sanni was his brother and my Chacha,” shares Apar. “So, if your brother or sister can be your close friend, then half your problems are taken care of. It will be you against the rest of the world then.”

He Believes Siblings Being Best Friends Is The Most Fortunate Thing

The actor even spoke about shooting a documentary film. In that film, he reflects on a scene from Ramayana. On the losing end of the war, Ravan credits Lord Rama’s victory to the fact that his brother, Lakshman, stood by him, while his own brother, Vibhishana, didn’t.  Elaborating on his words, Sanya reflected that Aparshakti has a lot of respect for his elder brother, Ayushmann. “The kind of respect Apa has for his bade bhaiya is insane,” says Sanya.
