This Is Sara Tendulkar’s Go-To Dish On Cheat Days

On an exciting episode of Power Hour, our Editor-in-Chief, Kamiya Jani, met with the gorgeous Sara Tendulkar, daughter of Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar. As the founder of a Pilates Academy in Mumbai and a certified nutritionist, she revealed many secrets to Curly Tales, including her favourite foods and skincare regimen. But of course, it all happened after an intense round of workouts in her Pilates studio. To know how it went, watch the full episode.

Sara Tendulkar Loves This Cheesy Dish

Once we were done with an effective Pilates session, it was finally time to indulge in some deliciousness. We started with some really delicious smoothies that she made herself. There were two versions: she made ‘Kynda Fruity’ for Kamiya, filled with fresh berries, and for herself, it was a glass of ‘Kynda Earthy,’ made with matcha and frozen bananas.

As we indulged in these smoothies, along with some wholesome salads, we were curious to know, since Sara clearly follows a strict healthy regime, from working out to eating all sorts of healthy food, what’s the one dish she reaches for on a cheat day? Without a moment of hesitation, Sara Tendulkar declared her love for cheese dosas. While she also loves pizzas, cheese dosa is the one thing she constantly craves, but it has to be homemade.

Given her dedication to all things healthy, we assumed that she always makes sure to maintain her diet. However, she revealed that since she is a big foodie and often travels, it’s unrealistic for her to stay as consistent.

A Tour Of Her Academy

As the episode began and we got a tour of Sara Tendulkar’s Pilates Academy, we also learnt what Pilates actually is. She shared that it was introduced in the early 20th century by Joseph Pilates, who started it as a form of rehabilitation for soldiers who fought in World War I. Different from other forms of workout, this one connects the body with the mind. It not only focuses on strength but also on mobility and flexibility.

In this episode, she revealed a lot more about Pilates, how she works out her schedule at the Academy, and more. Watch the full episode to learn all about it.
