On our latest episode of Tere Gully Mein, Curly Tales met with none other than comedian Kaustubh Agarwal. During this episode, we not only found out about his journey to becoming a comedian but also learnt a lot about his love for food and his relationships, played a few fun games with him, and all in all, had a wonderful time.
We Enjoyed Amritsari Kulchas With Kaustubh Agarwal
Where there’s Curly Tales, there’s a lot of food. And on this episode of Tere Gully Mein, we tried a lot of famous food spots in Tilak Nagar with Kaustubh Agarwal. Our first stop on the food trail was Ambarsariya, an iconic spot known for its authentic Amritsari Kulchas with a lot of variants to choose from. As soon as he saw the menu, he wanted to begin with a cup of chai and enthusiastically declared that he wouldn’t leave without trying the mango lassi. He went on to order the Paneer Pyaaz Kulcha.
As we awaited our order, we also wanted to know what a typical breakfast looks like at his house. Kaustubh Agarwal revealed that he and his family are originally from Ujjain in Madhya Pradesh. Their food habits come from that region, which implies that most mornings they indulge in poha with sev, jalebi, and chai. For lunch, it’s usually dal bhaat. They also keep it simple for dinner with sabzi, roti, etc.

His Favourite Food Spots In Delhi
Our next stop was Franky Chicken Roll. And while we ordered, we decided to find out his go-to food spots in Delhi. His first pick was the legendary Rajinder Da Dhaba for obvious reasons. Kaustubh Agarwal also had a lot of praise for the Karigari restaurant chain from the famous chef Harpal Singh Sokhi. But when it comes to picking a spot for momos, he has no choice. He is such a huge fan of momos that he can eat them anytime, anywhere.
However, Kaustubh Agarwal didn’t speak so enthusiastically about dim sum. To know how he feels about them, watch the full episode on the Curly Tales YouTube channel.
