Aparshakti Khurana & Sanya Malhotra Open Up About Their First Meeting
Aparshakti Khurana and Sanya Malhotra started their journey in Bollywood with the cult classic Dangal. With their talent, they have both established themselves as sought-after actors in the Hindi film industry, and they are only getting started! While many know that they started their filmy journey together, did you know that the duo are best of friends off screen? Well, their friendship began on the set of Dangal and they have since become inseparable parts of each other’s lives.
During Sunday Brunch with Curly Tales, Kamiya Jani asked Aparshakti Khurana and Sanya Malhotra how and when they first met and the besties opened up about their first meeting. “Hum Aamir sir ke purane wale ghar main mille the. We all, Zaira, Fatima, and I, were sitting together for a Haryanvi workshop and Aparshakti had a separate workshop. Hume bola gaya tha ki Apar aaye hai, aap sab jaake mil lejiye! The thing was, we were all cast earlier and he came a little late,” Sanya fondly remembered.
When asked about their first impressions of each other, Sanya jokingly said that while she had a good impression of Aparshakti Khurana, he did not have the same feeling.
“Jo first impression tha woh yeah that ki yaar, yeah bandi kitni fit hai! And even today whenever I meet her, I tell her that she keeps getting fitter. I think that’s her dance upbringing,” Aparshakti shared.
Duo Talks About Red Flags In Friendship
Seeing their great bonding, Kamiya asked the duo what is the biggest red flag in friendship, according to them. “Friendship main financial partnerships nahi honi chahiye. It can lead to a lot of differences,” Aparshakti Khurana wisely shared. Sanya Malhotra agreed and said that, for her, true success means having genuine friendships and people who will stand by you.
