In the recent episode of Sunday Brunch, Curly Tales got the chance to step into the lavish sea-facing Mumbai home of Indian film director Vivek Agnihotri and his wife, actress Pallavi Joshi. From sharing the story of their first meeting at a rock concert to talking about their views on veg and non-veg food with our Editor-in-Chief, Kamiya Jani, here’s everything that went down during this amazing brunch.
Sunday Brunch At The Residence Of Vivek Agnihotri And Pallavi Joshi
This Sunday, our Editor-in-Chief, Kamiya Jani, enjoyed a hearty brunch at the beautiful Mumbai home of Vivek Agnihotri and Pallavi Joshi. From the moment we stepped inside, we were stunned by the pleasing aesthetics, the paintings, the sculptures, and so much more. Vivek even let us in on a secret and said to Kamiya, “This is the first time Pallavi has allowed someone to come inside our home because she likes you.”
Before starting our Sunday Brunch, Curly Tales asked them about their love story (because who doesn’t enjoy a good conversation before delicious food?). Vivek shared that they first met at an indie rock concert. He had gone there with a close friend after finishing work. Pallavi, who was close to that friend, also attended the concert. Honestly, stories like these really make us believe in true love!
Opposite Food Choices: Veg Vs Non-Veg
After sharing interesting anecdotes, Vivek revealed that he now follows a simple diet and avoids non-veg and junk food. Pallavi, on the other hand, said she believes in eating everything in moderation. When we gave them two food options to choose from, both of them ended up picking completely different choices, showing how different their preferences actually are!
Talking about food led to the actual Sunday Brunch, and it honestly tasted as good as it looked! The menu had plenty of healthy options from Vivek’s menu: Oat Idlis, Sambhar (without oil), and Black Rice. Pallavi’s menu was all about indulgence and included Mutton Chops with Pav.
Fun Conversations And The Bengal Files
After enjoying a hearty brunch, Vivek and Pallavi talked about working together and spoke about the importance of family. The fun continued with our Editor-in-Chief playing “Who is Most Likely To?” with the couple. For that part, you will have to watch the full episode because the details just got more and more interesting!
The show wrapped up with Vivek Agnihotri revealing the release date of his upcoming movie, The Bengal Files, which is set to hit theatres on September 5.
